We had a wonderful stay at a motel in Woodend. the owners were super friendly and informative. They even made sure our little ones got a good rest. On arrival, we were upgraded to a bigger room for a small extra charge. the room was exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We had everything we needed to make meals, including an oven. the beds were firm and provided excellent support for our backs. the setting was quiet and peaceful, and we had access to all the facilities we could have possibly needed. it was a very enjoyable experience. Cons: All was good 👍.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring that our late arrival on a cold night was accommodated. The manager even put on the heater before we arrived, making the room lovely and toasty. Additionally, the small touches like providing a bottle of milk instead of those silly little containers added to the great service.
The only minor annoyance we encountered was the weak Wi-Fi signal that kept dropping out. It was fine for charging phones, but with tablets and laptops, we had to keep reconnecting.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming motel in a peaceful location. The owner, Mike, personally welcomed me and made sure I felt at home. He even remembered that I had stayed there before, which showed exceptional care and attention. The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and exactly like I remembered from my previous visit. Despite arriving late, the owner was accommodating and made sure I had a smooth check-in experience. The warm and cozy room was exactly what I needed on a cold day. The bed and sofa were both comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The motel had a lovely pool area, which I can imagine would be fantastic during the summer. The owner also provided helpful recommendations for dining and drinking options nearby. I appreciated their proactivity in recycling waste materials by providing a dedicated container. I had a top-quality experience at an affordable price. I highly recommend this motel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
There was some light shining into the room due to the frosted glass in the main door, and the bright kitchen wall reflected this into the bedroom. A small blind would have been useful to prevent this.

It was very close to an excellent cafe and shopping area. it was close to Christchurch airport, which was great because we had an early morning flight. the room was okay, but the bathroom needed some cleaning. the owner was somewhat helpful, but we didn't like the breakfast options and there weren't enough facilities available.
The motel was quite old, and some of the amenities were outdated and needed improvement.

The hotel was conveniently located near the city center and had friendly staff. the beds were quite comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. the hotel offered a decent breakfast spread which was a great start to the day.
The bathroom was inadequately cleaned and had dirty towels and floors. the room also had a musty smell which was quite unpleasant.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel facilities were great, with a lovely pool and natural setting. The location was perfect as it was close to everything we needed, including an excellent cafe and a shop next door for groceries. The parking was ample and convenient for us. Additionally, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating to our requirements.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.
